Gombe: Jane Goodall's Legacy

About Gombe Stream National Park

Journey to the remote western edge of Tanzania and enter the world of Gombe Stream National Park, a narrow strip of ancient forest clinging to the steep slopes rising from the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Though Tanzania's smallest national park, Gombe holds immense global significance as the site of Dr. Jane Goodall's pioneering research on wild chimpanzees.

Visiting Gombe is an intimate and unique experience, focused primarily on trekking through the lush forest to observe habituated chimpanzee families in their natural habitat. It's a chance to witness behaviours made famous by Goodall's work and connect with our closest living relatives in a truly special setting.
