Mikumi National Park
Your journey begins with a hotel transfer in Zanzibar and a scenic domestic flight to Mikumi, one of Tanzania's most accessible and wildlife-rich national parks. Upon landing, you'll be welcomed by a professional safari guide and begin your full-day game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. The Park is home to an impressive variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species. The open plains of Mikumi provide excellent visibility, making it easy to spot animals in their natural habitat.
During the safari, you'll stop for a picnic lunch inside the park, giving you a chance to relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings. In the late afternoon, you'll return to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar, followed by a transfer back to your hotel.
